Trail Of Tears

The trail of tears,
it went on for years.
It started in 1838,
the soldiers from the north,
they came to the south.
We had kicked them out from their homes.
They didn’t know why.

This had happened when Jackson
was in the big chair.
A lot of people didn’t think this was fair.
He had gone along with it anyway.

The Trial of Tears is the trail
the native americans had traveled on,
when Jackson kicked them out
of their land.
It's a trail that that they
died on,
they cried on,
and then they reached the end
4000 had died on the way.
